Antonio Dikele Distefano: A Conversation (Hybrid Event) In-Person / Online

Becton College presents a conversation with Antonio Dikele Distefano, a second-generation African-Italian screenplay writer and director, the creator of Netflix series Zero, and Fred Kuwornu, who directed the documentary Blaxploitation: 100 Years of Blackness in the Italian Cinema, who is a teacher and ex-assistant of Spike Lee. Both will talk about their work, being second-generation African Italians, perceptions of race, living/working in Italy vs. in the U.S., cultural differences, etc.
